Gloria J. Kimmel, 76, Altoona, passed away Monday at UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late William M. and Mary E. (Livingston) Moffitt. On Feb. 27, 1965, she married Robert S. Kimmel.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Elizabeth (Jimmey) Brooks of Alliance, Neb.; a son, Mark (Ruby) Kimmel of Pittsburgh; four grandchildren: James Kimmel, Colten Kimmel, JamieJo Brooks and Dawn Rae Brooks; two sisters: Tish (David) Grove of Hollidaysburg, and Linda Gibbons of Altoona; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gloria was a 1958 graduate of Altoona High School. She was of the Lutheran faith, and she enjoyed camping, reading and spending time with her family.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service, Friday, May 5, 2017, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park, Pastor Eli Hess officiating. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Myeliodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) Foundation, 4573 S. Broad St., Suite 150, Yardville, NJ 08620.
